Who’s Who In Black Dallas Marked as Huge Success with the Release of Inaugural Edition

Columbus, Ohio – The Inaugural edition of Who’s Who In Black Dallas was successfully released to a full house Thursday, May 24, 2012 at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Inc. at the Dallas Convention Center Theatre Complex.

With an array of individuals represented, Who’s Who In Black Dallas paid tribute to African Americans in the city of Dallas who have made a positive impact. Providing inspiring story, biographies and photos, the historic edition of Who’s Who in Black Dallas celebrated the success and contributions of African Americans who have become the backbone of the community.

Featured in this historic edition were such individuals as Hattie Hill, chief executive officer of Hattie Hill Enterprises; Gail Warrior, president and chief executive officer of The Warrior Group; Cheryl Alston, executive director of City of Dallas Public Employee Fund; YaLonda Lockett, regional sales manager for Reliant; Margo Posey, president of DFW Minority Supplier Development and Ken Carter, president and chief executive officer of Focus Communications, Inc. to name a few.

In addition, Richard Knight, president and chief executive officer of Pegasus Texas Holdings, LLC; Dr. Harry Robinson, president of the African American Museum; Beverly Mitchell-Brooks, president of the Urban League of Greater Dallas; Ann Williams, president and chief executive officer of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre; Congresswoman Eddie Bernice-Johnson and Helen Giddings were featured in the section marked Living Legends.

Also featured in this historic edition were introduction writer Tom Joyner, host of The Tom Joyner Morning Show and H. Ron White, managing partner for White-Wiggins, LLC, as the foreword writer.
