We are excited to bring you two powerful seasoned entertainers performing on our 2nd Cruise With a Purpose/Sunset Dinner Cruise. The other song writer/singer & entertainer is Rich Vann from Oklahoma! Yours truly will perform the official theme song ‘Cruize With a Purpose’! Educational scholarships will be presented to Mayaah Peppers and Sanah Jivani, fashion designers showcasing their designs include: Deidre Hardin, Marquett Murphy-Smith, and Andre Terry, catering will be done by Charissa Singleton of C & T Devine Specialties, we will have surprise guests, swag bags, raffles, dancing and just have a great time.

Lady Soul was born Brittany Yates in Dallas, Texas, and still resides there today. Her success as an artist began in 2011 recording a single “Tonight we makn’ mayonnaise” which earned her a best new southern soul song nomination by The Jus’ Blues Awards. The single also got the attention of southern soul legend Mel Waiters. The same year she became a principal background singer for Mel Waiters, and traveled performing at casinos, the blues is alright tour, the bbq festival, and other major venues.
Some shows Mel Waiters allowed her the opportunity to showcase her solo talent which sharpened her skills as an entertainer. In 2012 she took a break on the road to focus on finishing her Business management degree, but the break was interrupted by constant gigs of many other soul artists hiring her for background vocals. During 2014 she got the opportunity to meet the bad boy of southern soul T.K. Soul who took her under his wing, and became her mentor.

Lady Soul is an upcoming accomplished writer penning her first hit single on Soulful Records “The Lady Soul Slide” in 2015. Lady Soul influences include Bobby Womack, KoKo Taylor, and Mary J. Blige.
